Decisions on Monetary Policy are deliberated and taken by the Central Bank Board at the end of each quarter. The key outcomes from the meeting are decisions relating to the Monetary Policy Rate (MPR) and the rate on the Bank’s Standing Facilities for the upcoming quarter.

Information on the outcome is communicated to members of the media in a Press Conference. In addition, the Bank publicises a Press Communiqué and the Media Presentation to improve information awareness on Monetary Policy actions.
