The CBS building has reopened following the successful completion of the precautionary bed bug treatment.

To ensure the smooth resumption of CBS’ operational services, however, CBS’ banking services currently being offered at alternative locations will be maintained for another week as follows:

Cash deposit and withdrawal services by Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) remain available at Nouvobanq (Main Branch - Victoria).

Cashing of Government cheques by MDAs and individuals remain available at Nouvobanq (Main Branch -Victoria) from 8.30am to 12.30pm.

Cheque deposit facility for MDAs is available at the Treasury Office at the Capital City Building.

Exchange of coins and damaged banknotes by individuals can still be done at their respective banks with which they hold an account.

All the abovementioned services will resume normal operation at the CBS banking hall on Monday August 12, 2024.

The sale of numismatic items, exchange of demonetised notes and exchange of coins by individuals who do not have a bank account, which were suspended during the closure period will also resume at the CBS building as from Monday August 12, 2024.
