CBS to administer the issuance of Treasury Bond on behalf of the Government of Seychelles
The Financial Markets Division of the Central Bank of Seychelles (CBS) will be administering the issuance of a 5-year Treasury Bond on behalf of the Government of Seychelles, for fiscal purposes.
The bond will be earning a fixed interest rate of 3.80% per annum. The payment of interest for the Treasury Bond will be made on a half-yearly basis, on May 20 and November 20, with the first interest payment being on November 20, 2026.
The Treasury Bond will be issued through an auction on June 22, 2026, comprising competitive and non-competitive biddings. The competitive bidding will only be available to Depository Institutions, Seychelles Pension Fund and Insurance Companies. Non-competitive bidding will be available to all other eligible investors.
The window to submit application forms for both competitive and non-competitive biddings will be open from June 15, 2026, until 8:30 a.m. on June 22, 2026.
